Fund-Raising Opportunities
Year-Round Fund-Raising
In addition to specific events or sales to raise funds, CCA participates in many fund-raisers that last all year. Here is general information about each of these programs; for more details, please click on the links below, or contact the school office.
CCA Annual Fund
In November 2009, CCA introduced our new fund-raising program called the Annual Fund. Please visit our Annual Fund page for more details about the program, and consider how you may be able to help us continue to equip our students to exhibit Christian leadership in the home, church, workplace and community.

Other (Easy) Fund-Raising
Box Tops 4 Education - There is a 10¢ Box Tops coupon on brands such as Cheerios®, Betty Crocker®, Pillsbury®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, Hefty® and more. The student/parent brings in the coupon off the product and the school receives the 10¢ for every top, just like a pop bottle! CCA makes it a bit of a competition between elementary classes. Students are encouraged to collect the box tops all year, and in February the students bring in what they have collected.
In 2011 students brought in $918.50 from box tops—that's over 9,000 tiny pieces of cardboard!
Target: Take Charge of Education - If you have a Target REDCard credit card, or will get one soon, simply designate "Calvary Christian Academy in Ypsilanti, MI" (school ID 22311) as your school for donations. CCA earns 1% of sales, but they add up over time. Currently there are 18 cardholders that have designated CCA as their school, and we've earned over $1,750 through this program.
Kroger will pay up to $500,000 on a quarterly basis to participating organizations based on their percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending of all participating Kroger Community Rewards organizations.
